Honoring El Gazar , Taye , Shaalan and Sirry at the opening of

Prof.  Ahmed Abdel Ghani head of the Fine Arts Sector  has inuaguarated  the third session of the Salon “white – black” at  Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek.

 During the opening a number of  great symbols of the Egyptian Fine Arts movement were honored , artist Abdulhadi Al Gazzar, Mohsen Shaalan, Khalaf Taye, Mohammed Rizk, and artist Nadia Sirry has also been honored in  recognition of her outstanding participation at the Fifth International Biennial of Ecuador and acquiring its first prize.

Ghani also mourned the death of  artist d. Mahmoud Shukri, who had passed away with his wife in a tragic car accident last Saturday, and noted that the sector decided to set up an exhibit honoring the  artist that will contain all  work.

It should also  be noted that the third session of the Salon exhibited more than 250 art works  for about 150 artists,  for the first time  participation with oil paintings are included in the Salon , which infused the  diversity with  richer in ideas and methods.   The Salon will continue until Wednesday, March 11, 2015 th at Al Gazira Arts Center in Zamalek.
