Leonardo Da Vinci- The Universal Artist Award to the Egyptian Artist Nadia Sirry
Nadia Sirry the Egyptian fine artist won Leonardo Da Vinci The Universal Artist prize for artistic merit. The Award is curated by the Artistic Consulting Studio Russo and Effetto Arte Foundation in Italy. Furthermore, a number of artists from various artistic specializations from around the world have also been selected for this honor. The celebration in its second edition was held at the historic Borghese Palace in Florence on January 20th, in presence of art critics and International art personalities, where Nadia Sirry has dedicated her award to her homeland Egypt. Nadia Sirry, an Egyptian artist, was born in Cairo in 1958. She has participated in many local and international exhibitions, received many awards and certificates of appreciation, honored by the Ministry of Culture in 2015 for winning the First Prize at the Fifth International Biennale of Ecuador, And in 2012 for her special prize in water color painting at the Fourth Intercontinental Biennial of Ecuador. She has acquisitions at the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, the Agricultural Museum, the Modern Museum of the Ecuadorian Cultural Palace, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the American University in Cairo.
