The Ministry of Culture honors artist Nadia Sirry

Artist Nadia Sirry has expressed her happiness with this honor, saying: I feel proud to be honored next to senior symbols in the Egyptian Fine Arts movement such as  artist Abdulhadi El Gazar, artist  Mohsen Shaalan,  artist  Khalaf Taye, and artist Mohammed Rizk, and even though I have  already been honored more than once , but  being honored at  your home country is something different. “
 Artist Nadia Sirry has been  awarded the First Prize in oil painting at the Fifth International Biennial of Ecuador in August  for her participation with  two art  works inspired by  the Nile River.  She has been handed over the certificate of appreciation by  each of  dr. Mohammed Afifi, head of the Supreme Council, Culture deputy of the Minister of Culture and Prof. Ahmed Abdul Ghani head of the The Fine Arts Sector at the  opening of the Salon “white – black” that was held at  Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek  amid the presence of a large crowd of artists, critics and journalists.
